You were gone
And the whole year lied
It should have been summer
The streets were hot with June
Fruit carts sweated at the corner
Children shouted after me
Kept walking colder
Coldness in the heat
With old December in my pockets
No blood in my every green
Every day came dressed in sun
Looked at all that comes
Summer went quiet
They sang everything with plenty
Grains laid thick as sleep
Unclaiming it like bread
I know make my share
Hands out everything
